Cookies, cookies recipe with chocolate chips
Cookies are a sure-hit dessert that will delight adults and children alike. The only problem you might have is to regret not being more prepared.
115 g butter, at room temperature
75g white sugar
100 gm brown sugar
Pinch of vanilla extract or vanilla sugar
225 g flour
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
1 tablespoon of yeast
170gm dark or white chocolate chips
1.- It looks a little complicated but it is very simple to do. The first thing we will do is mix the butter, which will be at room temperature, with the sugar until we get a homogeneous mixture.
2.- Then add the egg and vanilla essence. We keep mixing.
3.- We continue with the dry ingredients. In this case, it must be sieved, because it is always better to sifter the flour for desserts. Add the flour, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt. Mix well until you get a smooth ball.
4.- Add the chocolate chips and keep mixing.
5.- Make balls of about 35-40 grams and let cool. We can leave an hour in the refrigerator or 10 minutes in the freezer. Meanwhile, 6.- Once the balls have cooled, place the baking tray with the cookie balls on a baking sheet or parchment paper in the oven for about 14 minutes.
We heat the oven to 180 ° C.
Don’t worry because at first, I thought I should crush them, but they themselves melt and stay flat.
7.- Let it cool on the rack and as soon as it becomes cold we are ready to enjoy it.
