INGREDIENTS:

For the Steak:

 

2 (8-10 oz) ribeye or filet mignon steaks (1.5″ thick)

2 tbsp butter

2 tbsp olive oil

3 cloves garlic, crushed

2 sprigs fresh rosemary or thyme

Salt & black pepper (to taste)

For the Lobster:

 

2 (6-8 oz) lobster tails, split in half (shell-on)

3 tbsp melted butter (+ extra for dipping)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp paprika

1 tbsp lemon juice

Salt & black pepper (to taste)

Fresh parsley (for garnish)

INSTRUCTIONS:

1️⃣ Prep the Steak:

 

Pat steaks dry, season generously with salt & pepper.

Heat olive oil in a cast-iron skillet over high heat until smoking.

Sear steaks 3-4 mins per side (for medium-rare).

In the last 2 mins, add butter, garlic, and rosemary. Baste the steak with the melted butter.

Rest steaks 5 mins before serving.

2️⃣ Cook the Lobster:

 

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

Butterfly lobster tails by cutting the shell lengthwise (keep meat attached).
