Ingredients:
2–4 fresh lemons (or limes)
2–4 tablespoons coarse salt (sea salt works best)
Instructions:
Wash the lemons and pat them dry.
Cut each lemon into 4 sections without slicing all the way through (keep the base intact so it holds together).
Gently open the cuts and sprinkle salt generously into each section.
Place the lemons on a plate or small dish.
Leave them in your room (bedroom, kitchen, or bathroom).
What it does:
The citrus releases a fresh, clean scent.
The salt helps draw out moisture and enhances the aroma.
It can slightly reduce mild odors in small spaces.
Tips:
Replace every 2–3 days (they dry out quickly).
Keep away from pets or insects (they may be attracted).
Works best in small rooms, not large areas.
Reality check:
It won’t actually purify air like a filter or remove toxins—it’s just a simple, natural deodorizer. Still, it’s cheap, easy, and smells nice 🙂
